Staff Counselor

Te-Nail Gayden is a Licensed Professional Counselor originally from Montevallo, Alabama. As the daughter of a U.S. Army veteran, she had the unique opportunity to grow up traveling around the world, which helped shape her appreciation for diverse cultures and life experiences.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Auburn University and her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mississippi College.

Te-Nail specializes in integrating Biblical principles with evidence-based therapeutic practices to support individuals and couples navigating life’s challenges. Her areas of focus include unresolved trauma and grief, PTSD, relationship and marital concerns, anxiety, and addiction. She is passionate about helping clients find healing, restoration, and clarity through a compassionate, personalized approach to care.

Her therapeutic style is collaborative and client-centered, focusing on understanding each individual or couple’s unique needs while working together to develop meaningful goals and practical steps toward growth and healing.

Te-Nail currently resides in Madison with her husband of 18 years, and together they are raising their three children. She is an active member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Gluckstadt, where she faithfully serves in the youth ministry, marriage ministry, and administrative team.
